Subject: For better or verse, a SWILnews.

        To those who'd read the words of me,
        Continue on and you shall see
        A pleasant piece that may amuse
        Which we here call the Swillish News.

        Walpurgisnacht is nearly here;
        (It happens every single year).
        Meet Friday night in Hallowell
        Before or shortly past ten bells.

        Schlocky films will soon arrive
        And will be shown May 3, 4, 5.
        At first we've got Good Mr. Spock
        In "Brain Eaters"--some fine fun schlock.

        The next you'll see is quite inspired--
        Billy the Kid and a vampire.
        Greg Frost will come to this one, too,
        To sign some books for me and you.

        The last one stars amphibians:
        "Frogs" in the Carribbean.
        They (and leeches, and alligators)
        Strike a blow for Mother Nature.

        On Saturday we shop for books
        (Or at least we'll take a look).
        "Spend eighty dollars!" is our order,
        So we'll go trooping down to Borders.
        
        Ted-d-d has written back,
        Saying Bond might work, at that,
        For George, the homeless storage room
        That turns to dorm this coming June.

        And, of course, submit to BEM,
        So we'll have stuff to show our friends.
        (We've got about a half an ish--
        Another half is what we'd wish.)

        And so the SWILnews endeth thus
        (Without much holler, hoot or fuss).
        Just one thing more that can't be missed:
        The obligatory attendance list.
