Subject: The Unhappy and Unjust Fate of SWILNews #7 (and movie nominations)

Report from Special Agent 314159: This morning we discovered the
secret hideout of the subversives.  The hideout was empty except for
salt and pepper shakers, a cd player, a laptop computer, three Jolly
Ranchers, and a duck.  (and a pear tree? -c) (rather, an apricot
tree. -o) Using information found in the hideout, we were able to
locate the two key elements.  The leaders of the "movement" were two
young, attractive, intelligent, short, Jewish, heavily-armed women
(well, one woman and one eggplant deity, but who's counting? -c).

After a tense standoff, the fugitives were apprehended.  We offered
them the choice between life imprisonment or 400 hours of community
service writing SWILNews.  Needless to say, they chose the former.  So
we were forced to hire "trained professionals" to finish the job. (so
if this swilnews is completely boring, you can blame the police. -c)
Comments were uttered during a strained twelve-hour interrogation.

Before being dragged away to rot in their cells, the presidents
screamed "Movie nominations next week, Saturday the 20th!  E-mail your
suggestions to us or bring them to meeting!"

 information in it is necessarily accurate. specifically, not this
 piece. philcon already happened.)

-Sharples III: we wrote a proposal
 -other proposals: political groups, sccs
 -find out if other groups use Sharples III
 -if we're the only group that reserves Sharples III, could we get
  ourselves written into the sccs charter as getting the space twice a
  year?
 -what about the WRC? could we reserve it?
 -we should build SWIL Hall
 -Sam wants a SWIL alumni fund
 -maybe talk to Peaslee?
