Subject: SWILnews #8: the sandbox

        'Allo, 'allo.  Our top story tonight: the upcoming trip to
PhilCon
on Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday.  An automobile built for four will
be
leaving after dinner on Friday and also after SWIL on Saturday (no
Prisoner
this week, folks), plus possibly on Sunday if we really like it there.
Any
of you are welcome to come along on any of the trips, although only Don,
Elizabeth C, our lovely loremistress Kendra, and myself have paid our
dues;
others must shell out $35 at the door.  Saturday's group will return
around
7:00 for the Contra Dance; Friday's around midnight.  A pleasant time is
guaranteed for all, and there will be much Magic played there.

        We have a mission: we must find the Christmas Oreos with bright
red
filling.  (Yes, they exist.)  They seem like the sort of things I could
find deeply disturbing...

        All you non-members should start thinking about who will fill my
shoes after I've stepped down.  You'll need size 11&1/2 feet.  Sometime
in
December we will gather together and vote on who will be President next
year--all I know is, it won't be ME, ho ho.

        Anybody with a few hundred dollars rattling around in their
pockets
might want to take a look at the arms catalog in my room (ML4201), which
contains swords, armor, clothing, and other stuff medieval, all
available
the the US Postal Service.  (Insert Tick quote here.)  Let me know if
you
wanna see it...
